With degrees in Psychology, Business and Law, formal training in pastry and a long career history as a restauranteur, paralegal, psychologist, professional dancer, graphics designer, writer, social worker and businesswoman, it is small wonder (to those who know her) that Calista would eventually find herself in entrepreneurship.
Born Singaporean; bred around the world (Hong Kong, China, USA, UK and Japan), Calista is a multi-faceted, multi-lingual individual with unique experiences and a diverse outlook on life. She started working at 15 years old, started her first company, a restaurant, at 18, opened her second cafe at 20, dabbled in Law and Psychology for awhile before returning to her roots as an entrepreneur again at age 26, with Anything But Salads. In total, Calista has over a decade worth of F&B experience as well as 5 years in the professional legal industry.
Studying technopreneurship in UPenn whilst working in Princeton, breakdancing, performing and completing his computer engineering degree with the National University of Singapore, Noel knows how to live life and how to succeed - well.
Working in various internationally acclaimed investment banks, military trained and a career profile in venture capital, Noel brings a formal and down-to-earth approach to our little start-up. Quirky, funny and staunchly hard working, Noel is the life of the party (always). When he's not working at his desk in an investment bank, Noel is found hitting the roads hard (he is a former cross-country athlete) or doing some pad work in the ring (he is an amateur boxing champion). Like Clark Kent, Noel often shocks his colleagues in the investment banking world on his day-offs. Suit & tie gone, Noel is most often found rockin' it out in a pair of rugged slacks, high tops, SOUL headphones and an earring to boot. Don't be surprised if you spot him groovin' it out on the street somewhere. Don't be surprised if he asks you to join in.Unpredictably predictable. Intelligently diligent. World traveller . B-boy . Street . Passionate . A Leader.
Delon knows food. Good food.
Born and raised in Singapore, Delon understands how varied and delicious foods can taste. The diversity and colourfulness of Southeast Asian cuisine has imbued in him a remarkable ability to utilize spices and herbs to create soulful dishes. Having worked for Mario Batali, and a 2-star Michelin restaurant in Finland, Delon has a strong grasp of both the classical and contemporary. Not willing to settle for second best, Delon has competed extensively in culinary competitions before joining ABS as a full-timer.
An easy-going and gregarious individual, we have not met a single person who doesn't like Delon (we are not exaggerating, honestly). In his spare time, you will find him chillin' out with good friends, doing laps in the pool and relaxing in the sauna (a habit he picked up from his time in Finland).Classically contemporary . Fun . Unorthodox . Unconventionally wise . Respected .
